HLC/Life to the Max is an organisation who support young people and their whānau achieve better life and educational outcomes.
We are looking for a youth worker who can make a real difference with rangatahi in the Horowhenua. You do not necessarily need a professional background in working with young people; if you have the passion to make a difference for young people in your community and you have the key skills required for the role, we would love to hear from you. If necessary, we will help you attain a qualification on the job.
You’ll be working with young people who may have experienced considerable challenges, helping them to find training or employment, and set goals to support a better future.
The successful applicant will have enthusiasm to provide individually tailored programmes for young people and their families to achieve better life and educational outcomes in order to reduce that likelihood of possible future or repeat offending in the community of Horowhenua.
A current, full driver’s licence and a police vet are required for this role.
