Management Accountant

About the role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team! You will have a few years' experience under your belt and be ready for your next step - providing financial and analytical support that ensures fully informed business decisions are made. If you're a team player, able to build strong relationships and enjoy translating data into insights, then this might just be the ticket!

Your key responsibilities are based on the following:

• Contribute to the month end process, including associated monthly reporting and analysis for specific business units
• Project costing tracking and analysis
• Ensuring the year end reporting and audit processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintaining and developing financial models which are used to drive business decision making
• Working with the wider finance team to produce the annual accounts, and assisting the external audit team with their work as required

About you To succeed in this role you will need the following:

• A strong technical accounting background with an analytical mindset
• Excellent Excel ability, with experience with Xero
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, but also being comfortable working autonomously
• Hold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand, and only NZ based applicants please.
