ABOUT THE ROLE
Electra have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a GIS Administrator, to further increase the capability of their ESRI ArcGIS System to deliver operational and customer service excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of electricity network data and information while ensuring that Geographic Information System (GIS) information is available to key stakeholders. You will manage and update our database with essential information so an eye for detail and a systematic approach to data management is critical.
ABOUT YOU
You will bring your passion and genuine interest in GIS, with a hunger to learn and grow with us. You will have great attention to detail, accuracy, excellent people and communication skills and the ability to solve problems in a systematic and timely fashion.
You also have a solid grasp of all MS Office products, and a passion for the industry. A tertiary qualification in geography, GIS or other related field would be an advantage. We use ESRI ARC GIS, so a familiarity with this and/or electricity distribution systems is highly desirable.
The position is primarily office based in Levin or Paraparaumu with opportunities to work with internal and external customers and stakeholders across the Horowhenua and Kapiti region.
