Disability Support Workers - Summer Position

MASH Trust supports people in their own homes, within MASH homes and in the community. We operate throughout the lower North Island, in Manawatu, Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua and Hawkes Bay regions 

With over 550 staff and volunteers, we work alongside the people we support to enable them to live fulfilling lives

• You will earn between $22.70 - 28.25 per hour, depending on your qualification 
  

The Position:

•  As a Support Worker you will be supporting clients by maintaining a high quality of life, a quality home environment, and encouraging full participation in all aspects of community daily life
  
• A POOL staff member is a staff member that covers the gaps that we have available due to annual leave and training.  This position means your shift pattern may change from week to week but you are provided your schedule of 80 hours at least a fortnight in advance. You must be available to work both AM and PM shifts, weekdays and weekends.

You will have/be:

• Flexibility to work all shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers and wakeovers) 
• Availability over the Christmas and New Year period is essential
• Comfortable with assisting with personal cares
• Hold a current full drivers licence 
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
