HLC LEVIN

HLC is a warm and welcoming place full of opportunities to learn on the job.

At HLC, we are big believers in professional development and find that passion and industry experience is the first thing we look for when employing new tutors. Teaching opportunities span across a range of subjects such as Health and Wellbeing, Chef training, Trades, Security and Business and can range from life skills to tertiary level. We take pride in offering smaller classes where every student is catered for.

But you don’t need to teach to have a rewarding career at HLC. If you are driven and have a passion for helping others then we need you. Become an employment consultant and learn how to support students in taking their next steps into employment. We need people who aren’t scared to go out of their way to find life changing opportunities for their clients.

Keeping people engaged in education and training is what we are consistently working on with the support of our social services. We employ Youth Workers, Mentors and Social Workers to provide much needed health support to our community. So that our community can have the best chance at gaining skills and employment.

"I work with a group of amazing people who have all chosent to spend their time walking alongside young rangatahi - we have a lot of fun but work hard. There's lots of variety, one on one and group work."
Glenice Hoskins - Youth Co-ordinator
"The culture cultivated here at HLC is one of community, diversity and care. Supporting each other where we can."
Raymond Kaiki - Employment Consultant
"The thing I love the most about HLC is that it's very much about developing people's potential and they continue to help me develop mine!"
