GBC Ltd earth-moving division complete general farm maintenance tasks such as drain cleaning and cow race reconstruction as well as major farmland redevelopment.

We also specialise in roading, building site preparation and driveway construction. We have completed numerous council and private subdivision developments as well as Council roading projects in the lower North Island. We own a large aggregate quarry in Otaki, which gives us the ability to provide quality aggregate suitable for the project

Waitohu Quarry

GBC owns a Quarry on Waitohu Valley Road, near Otaki. We produce a wide range of graded aggregate for Domestic, Farm and Roading use.

With an explosion in demand for our Roading Aggregate, supplying to the M2PP, PP2O, and Transmission Gully projects, the recent upgrade of the fixed plant was timely. The upgrade now sees 4 times the amount of aggregate being made, control features also added. This enables the plant to produce grades of metal that meet strict New Zealand specifications. An independant Laboratory tests these metals regularly.
