Techlam have been providing Engineered Timber Solutions to projects across New Zealand, Australia and the wider Pacific regions for over 28 years.

The beauty of Techlam is that we provide opportunities for our staff to train and learn new skills with a hands on approach.

Opportunities within the workshop at Techlam include pressing timber, machine operation, finishing and packaging, detailing timber with complex cuts and carpentry work. We also have opportunities outside the workshop in CAD & BIM modelling, as well as administration and sales related positions. Each and every part of the business is just as important as the next.

Techlam is a great place to work because the team work collaboratively to create amazing engineered timber structures. We have a focus on laminated teamwork. This is very similar to the idea of lamination, taking something that is weak and bonding it together to create strength, and the glue that bonds us all together is our culture.
