Horowhenua Masonic Village

Horowhenua Masonic Village is a retirement village made up of villas, rental flats and a 77 bed care facility that happily homes more than 150 independent  and care residents.

We also provide support services such as catering, cleaning and maintenance for our residents and have a café that is both open to residents and to the public.

We employ around 120 people and have a range of roles available. On the care side we have nursing, recreational and caregiving roles of all experience levels with career progression opportunities. In the office we have reception and administration roles including accounts and payroll. In the kitchen we have roles as cooks and kitchen assistants.  Our village has a great team of cleaners and maintenance people who keep everything working well.

The Horowhenua Masonic Village strives to be a place where residents want to live and staff want to work. We have been a previous employer of choice in the Electra business awards, this reflects the caring culture we have at  our village. We also provide opportunities to all staff to develop skills and qualifications that allow them to have rewarding careers in a supportive environment.

And last of all, in our bright and sunny café we employ cooks, front of house staff, barista and kitchen hands.

"Here at Masonic Village I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people of different ages and cultures and everyone has the same level of respect and fairness. It's definitely a great team enviornment."
